On 27 March 2008, Terminal 5 - our new home at London Heathrow - will open. And we'd like to give you an exclusive preview of how this exciting change will completely transform your journey, whenever you fly in to or out of London or make a connection to another flight.

When you're making a connection, we know it can be stressful. But at Terminal 5 you'll find it's smooth and easy as Flight Connections is situated in the heart of the terminal. This means you are close to the gate for your connecting flight and there are plenty of British Airways Customer Service Agents on hand to help if you need them.

If London is your final destination, you'll soon be on your way as the gates are conveniently located close to Border Control and the state-of-the-art baggage system will have luggage waiting on the carousel as the first customers arrive.

If the UK is your final destination you'll find Terminal 5 has great transport links to speed you on your way. Escalators take you down to the London Underground and rail links. If you're heading for London by rail, you can be there in just 20 minutes on the Heathrow Express. Alternatively, if you walk through the beautifully landscaped Interchange Plaza you'll find the bus and coach points and taxi services.
